Thursday morning cliché: A picture is worth a thousand words.
Yesterday my first print run arrived. I thought it was cool the day the proof got here. Now imagine how cool it was a to have a box of books show up? Pure glee.
Sadly (for me ) the box is empty, and all those books are already gone. But great news for all my readers who pre-ordered their book. Cause they all hit the mail yesterday. Thank you friends! Needless to say, I underestimated how many of you wanted a signed copy.
I wasn’t sure if I should highlight my own book on Book recommendation Thursday, but then I said to myself, “Hello! You liked it enough to write it, right?” Well, yeah. And I really wanted to show you the box-o-books!
If you haven’t ordered it yet, all the retail links are to the right hand side of the page. If you want to order a signed copy go here. It will be a few weeks however, because I have to wait for the next print run to arrive.
Thanks to everyone who has supported me with this adventure. It really is totally cool, even when my best friend is embarrassing me because she’s telling everyone at the bar and dinner all about how I wrote a book. 🙂
Blurb:
Jade loves her new apartment ̶ until a ghost joins her in the shower.
When empath Jade Calhoun moves into an apartment above a strip bar on Bourbon Street, she expects life to get interesting. What she doesn’t count on is making friends with an exotic dancer, attracting a powerful spirit, and having feelings for Kane, her sexy landlord.
Being an empath has never been easy on Jade’s relationships. It’s no wonder she keeps her gift a secret. But when the ghost moves from spooking Jade, to terrorizing Pyper, the dancer, it’s up to Jade to use her unique ability to save her. Except she’ll need Kane’s help—and he’s betrayed her with a secret of his own—to do it. Can she find a way to trust him and herself before Pyper is lost?
